Mercer Tile with Fleur-de-lis design. This tile is an authentic reproduction produced by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in the 1980's. The glaze and clay color are faithful to the originals produced by Mercer Moravian Pottery & Tile Works at the beginning of the 20th Century, except that this tile at 4.5 inches square, is larger than the original tiles which normally were just under 4 inches. This tile is in excellent condition with a few minor glaze flecks on 2 corners. It is marked on the back.
